I love reading and learning effectively. Optimized reading and effective learning abilities are important throughout one’s life and are extremely useful during intense years such as the ones spent studying. These abilities are also of tremendous help in regular professional activities, leading to an increased personal productivity and to a better quality of all intellectual processes.
Along the way I’ve tested many variants and I would like to present to you the one that has helped me reach 1,000 word-per-minute reading speed and 80% memorization capacity. It is an online program for optimized reading, that is fast reading of the entire text followed by comprehending and memorizing the important pieces of information. It is NOT a photoreading process, NOR a skimming process.
This method is named “SpeeRead” and the psychologist who has invented it used scientific research and evidence. Developing optimized reading skills is done through systematic training with the help of an online program. These specific workouts train the eyes, brain and memory to read faster and at full extent any text and to assimilate more effectively the data one has read.
You may see below my results:
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: There exist a BASIC and an ADVANCED module. BASIC module is addressed especially to pupils and students, and the ADVANCED one to professionals and parents. The difference between the two modules consists in the duration of the training (20 minutes/day vs. 30 minutes/day; 24 training days + 10 tests vs. 30 training days + tests). Also, BASIC module is less expensive than the ADVANCED one. BASIC program may also be used by children aged at least 9.
USAGE FREQUENCY AND DEVICES: In order to get optimal results, it’s highly recommended that you take one step each day. During test days, you only need to invest 5 minutes, while during training days the duration is 20 minutes or 30 minutes. HIGHLY IMPORTANT: The speeds at which the texts are being shown during one session are adapted to the results of the previous test taken by the same person. The adaptability to the progress of each person and the program customization are excellent and represent one of the success secrets of this method. The program may be followed both on desktop/laptop, as on mobile devices. FREE testing of SpeeRead program! For the demo training please use a speed comparable with the one you got at the reading speed test. Please check the instructions before starting the speed reading and/or demo training.
We’ll send you 10 emails with all the specifics of the training program. You subscribe and get one email every two days. You will be able to unsubscribe any time.
SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCE that supports optimized reading: The systematic training helps in 5 important directions that indicate the way optimized reading is different from standard reading:
a) the meaning of the information is processed much faster (regardless of the visual form in which the information is presented, on paper or on screen)
b) the eye muscles are trained and they get to focus the information much faster (we could call it “eye fitness” J). These are the fastest muscles in the body and through practice they can decrease the speed with which we focus on every word from 300 milliseconds (average speed people have) to 30-150 milliseconds; the faster the focus is, the higher will increase the reading speed and the capacity of memorization.
c) the visual field will extend. We usually read every word. With the help of this program, we get to read more words each time we fixate the eyes on a text (between 2 to 5 consecutive words that have a meaning). The peripheral view is also activated.
d) the vocal cords will no longer move in a useless way. Though we don’t realize, when we read with lower speed, we also use the vocal cords (this is a habit we’ve developed during childhood), and this takes time. After optimized speed reading is reached, vocal cords no longer move and the time we gain is used for understanding and memorizing the text we’ve just read.
e) the capacity of memorization is significantly improved. People store the visual information in a sensory memory for about 100 milliseconds. Basically, if we read very fast (with focus <100 milliseconds), the information we’ve read will “download” entirely and will be assimilated much better. (I need to tell you that this was the “wow” effect for me; I’ve believed it’s real only when I’ve managed to experience it on my own.)
TESTIMONIALS: Many people, with different ages and professional backgrounds, have already experienced the benefits brought by SpeeRead programs. You may discover their stories and results here.
